Pussy Willow (Salix Aegyptiaca plant family) is a vigorous, fast-growing bushy, deciduous shrub or small tree, with purplish-red, thick branches which produce its flowers in fragrant, gray, male catkins. They are native to Turkey, Trans Caucasus, Iraq, Iran, Armenia, and Afghanistan.
